US, UK plan to counter Russia on global nuclear power market
WASHINGTON, Jun 9 (PRIME) -- The U.S. and the U.K. have agreed on an economic partnership aimed at countering Russia on the global nuclear power market, the White House said late on Thursday.
"The Joint Action Group on Energy Security and Affordability will also be mobilized to set near-term priorities for joint action to encourage the establishment of new infrastructure and end-to-end fuel cycle capabilities by 2030 in both continents, and substantially minimize reliance on Russian fuel, supplies, and services," the statement read.
